GROWING IN GOD
What does it mean to live a spiritual life? What does it mean to be a Christian? There has been a debate on this long enough, human beings have find ways to distort the truth about Jesus in so many ways, so what's your truth? Think about that today.
As a human being our main goal should be you Prioritizing our spiritual growth as the center of our well being,
intentionally nurturing your inner self, values, and connection with a higher power or purpose. It’s about aligning your daily life with your beliefs, gaining peace sanity and clarity for the sake of living your life, and growing in God's word and guidance in life choices and decisions.
What can we do to become devoted children of God.
Daily Quiet Time – putting God first is key each and ever day. Morning is always my favorite time to dedicate my day to God Set aside time each day for prayer, meditation, and reflection based on the events of the day ,as little as 15–30 minutes can center your spirit and connect you to God's presence through out your day.
Read Spiritual Texts – While walking the salvation journey i highly recommended a lot of gospel content around you Engage with the Bible, teach yourself something new everyday, whatever you are feeling, their is something in there for every thing in life ,read devotional books, or watch movies on testimonies, listen to the word, listen to gospel music, ensure you are feeding your faith and understanding how the kingdom of God works.
Practice Gratitude- As a Christian always pray for a grateful heart, always remember to go back with thanksgiving to God and to those who have shown you kindness. Reflect on what you're thankful for, count your blessings like literally, Gratitude shifts focus from lack to abundance and God's favor.
Live Intentionally- As a Christian living that straight and in truth life is something we all struggle with, but that's okay, just learn and repent and don't go back to it, live in your truth and the truth that God has given you, be a person of value, guide your choices by involving God, Be mindful of how your actions affect others and your soul, actions and consequences could affect our entire generation so making good choices is our responsibility.
Surround Yourself with Growth-Minded People – Who do you allow around you, Community matters alot!where are spending most of your day ,the environment should be nurturing not draining ,let it empowered you. Spend time with people who uplift, and cheer you on, as well as hold you when you falling, challenge, and support your growth invest in yourself as much as you can because that's your job.
Serve Others – I Cant speak enough about the power of togetherness enough, and that's what the enemy keeps on fighting, he just doesn't love togetherness, i have always been a believer of being their for the people i love and it doesn't matter if they do te same. God has always insisted on the importance of love ,the greatest gift he gave to mankind. Spiritual maturity is shown through love and compassion how are we holding each other through the tribulations that life brings us because at some point we all need someone. Find ways to give back and help those in need, if you could spear extra why not, spread the love it's your duty as a Christian.
Listen to Spiritual Teachings –The internet is full of amazing content on how you can grow yourself spiritually. Technology is playing a very big role in spreading the Gospel of God, There are amazing Podcasts, sermons, and talks from great men of God, mentors and teachers of the bible you could follow just to deepen your understanding of the bible and the truth in it, this will keep you inspired and help you fan your faith and belief in God.
Reflect Regularly – I have come to believe in the power of self reflection myself learning from what happened to us and using it to help other people, writing down what i have learned, what I felt that day, the events that changed my emotions in that particular day, what to change and what to keep Journaling down your spiritual journey helps in tracking What you are learning, change things you are struggling with and helps keep track of your growth.
